Wolfdog ownership is a huge commitment and something to not take lightly or on a whim. Plenty of research is needed before bringing one of these amazing animals home. The first thing that needs to be considered, do you live in a legal area? Some states and cities ban or require permits to own a wolfdog. Please look up your state and city requirements before you start your search for a new pup.
Containment is another big one! Do you have the proper funds and area to build a proper enclosure for your wolfdog? Some low contents can live in the home but do not expect a mid or high content wolfdog to be happy indoors. They are intelligent animals and need stimulus to keep them busy and entertained.
